Young Artist World Piano Festival
The Immature Creative person World Piano Festival is a 10 twenty-four hours residential summertime experience open up to young classically trained pianists betwixt the ages of 7 and eighteen. It offers an inspirational experience of boggling opportunities that encourage musical growth through individual lessons, masterclasses, competitions, forums, discussions, musicianship classes, recitals/concerts, and interactions with other students and teachers. This opportunity, now in its 23rd successful twelvemonth, brings together artist kinesthesia and a world class invitee artist with talented young pianists from across the country and beyond. Lifelong friendships are forged and students are motivated to achieve their all-time.
The Young Creative person World Piano Festival features an exciting Concerto Competition (finals judged past the Special Guest Artist), the Guest Creative person Masterclass Contest and the prestigious Honors Recital Contest. The Concerto Competition has two divisions: "12 and Under" and "12 and Over", with the winners performing with the Festival Orchestra, Marlene Pauley, Music Director and Conductor, during the residence. Final Recitals featuring all participants are given at the end of the residence.
Wirth Eye's School of Rock
The Schoolhouse of Stone is a summer camp held in cooperation with Sartell Customs Didactics at St. Katherine Drexel School in St. Cloud, Minnesota . The camp completed its seventh successful run in August 2011 with 60 participants from 15 primal Minnesota cities. Open to youth from grades 6 - 12, information technology offers instruction in various rock band instruments plus the management and germination of a stone ring.
Salon se Leve
Since 1999, this monthly performance series presents, supports and encourages Minnesota's most gifted emerging immature artists, utilizing the 19th century ambiance of a salon concert. Pre-college musicians are called to perform in this series subsequently winning a major regional, national or international competition in the previous school year. These recitals are presented past the Wirth Centre for the Performing Arts, in partnership with Salon se Lève'due south Volunteer Council/Contributing Membership and the Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church building in Downtown, Minneapolis . Every bit has been our tradition, all concerts (except the Benefit Concert) are free and open to the public. The program is funded through generous donations of its Contributing Members. These donors play an essential part in guaranteeing our flavour's success.
Music/Dance Teaching
